The Vine City Code Crew, Part 2 – The Maker Crew | Redeemer Community Church, Wednesday nights, April 22 – June 10 at 5:30pm
The Vine City Code Crew hopes to encourage and inspire kids to pursue continuing education in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) and give them a picture of what it could look like to have a rewarding career in a technology field.
This initiative will teach Vine City boys & girls ages 14 and up basic technology concepts in a fun and engaging way. We’re focusing on “maker” projects for this class in which we’ll create with and explore various technologies. Makers will build a bare-bones electric guitar noise maker, create electronic circuits from scratch, see flying drones in action, learn about 3D printers, and assemble a pencil circuit that makes sound as you draw with it! Sound like fun?
